A very easy crochet face scrubbie pattern made out of puff stitches! These are super easy and quick to make and also make an amazing gift for Christmas or Birthdays! You can gift them in trios of different shades or choose one shade for example, pink and have 3 or 2 shades of pink that goes well together! The possibilities are endless!

Easy Written Pattern:
Crochet Face Scrubbies Written Pattern
Abbreviations:
ss - slip stitch
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
YO - yarn over
sk - skip
ch-sp - chain space
sp - space
4-hdc cluster/puff st - 4 half double crochet into one st
BLO - back loops only
FLO - front loops only
How to work a 4-hdc cluster/puff st:
Step 1: *YO hook insert hook into the next stitch and pull up a loop, keep that loop on the hook, and rep from * 3 more times, you will have 9 loops on the hook.
Step 2: YO and draw all 9 loops on the hook.
Step 3: Secure the cluster with a chain 2.

Instructions
Scrubbie base:
Round 1 - work a magic ring, ch1 (does not count as a st), into the ring work 10 sc, ss into first sc st and pull close magic ring.
Round 2 - ch2 (count as a st) and work the first 4-hdc cluster into the first sc st (for the first cluster you will sk the first loop as we will use the ch2 as one), *ch2, 4-hdc cluster into the next st and rep from * around, ss into the top of the first cluster. [10 4-hdc clusters, 10 2ch-sp]
Round 3 - ch2 (count as a st) and work the first 4-hdc cluster into the first 2ch-sp (for the first cluster you will sk the first loop as we will use the ch2 as one), ch2, 4-hdc cluster into the same 2ch-sp, *ch2, 4-hdc cluster into the next 2ch-sp, ch2, (4-hdc cluster, ch2, 4-hdc cluster) all into the next 2ch-sp, rep from * around, ss into the top of the first cluster. [15 4-hdc clusters, 15 2ch-sp]
Round 4 - ch1 (does not count as a st), *2sc into the 2ch-sp, 1sc into next cluster st, rep from * around, ss into first sc st. [45 sts]
You can leave it like this or add a strap holder.
Strap (optional):
Step 1 - BLO for the first row, sc into the next 4 sts, *ch1 (counts as a st), turn project, sk the first sc st, 1sc into the next 3 sts, rep from * for 15 rows, ch1, make sure you have enough yarn to do a small sewing, break yarn and fasten off.
Step 2 - once you have the strap ready, thread the yarn in the strap into your tapestry needle, fold the strap end towards the other side of the scrubbie, making sure you have the wrong side on the outside, sew it in place getting the FLO of the scrubbie last round, ensure to get all 4 sts of the strap and sew into it down with 4 sts of the scrubbie base. Once you are done with the sewing, fasten off weave in, cut yarn and you are done! Congratulations on completing your new crochet item!
