Wavy Mesh Stitch Written Pattern
ROW 1 -
Choose one of the options below:
Option 1 - Chain base
Chain a multiple of 18 + 4, skip next chain (does not count as a st), and single crochet down into every chain.
Swatch example: chain 58, skip first chain (does not count as a st), single crochet down into next 57 chains. Stitch count: 57
Option 2 - Single crochet foundation row base
1 - Begin with a slip knot and chain 2. Pull up a loop into the second chain from the hook. You should have two loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull the yarn through the first loop on your hook, creating a chain stitch. Place a stitch marker on this chain stitch for later use.
2 - Yarn over and pull through both loops on your hook to complete a single crochet. You should have one loop on the hook. This completes your first foundation crochet stitch.
Repeat:
3 - Insert your hook into the space between the chain and the single crochet where the stitch marker is placed. Yarn over and pull up one loop, you should have two loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull the yarn through the first loop on your hook, making your next chain stitch. Move the stitch marker to this new chain stitch. To finish the second foundation crochet stitch, yarn over and pull through both loops on the hook to complete the single crochet.
Repeat step 3 until you have the desired number of stitches for your project.

Repeat ROWS 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 until you have the amount of rows you need for your project. Change the colour of the rows as you wish, you can see two options in my video but there are many different ways you can work this stitch, even using 1 colour only throughout.
