Not a chain 8o, maybe 60? I can't remember. I know I just needed it shorter.
And, even more...my Aunt is in ICU, under heavy sedation. I found an empty hook on the ceiling tract and hung her a bright and cheery, love-filled windspinner; her nurse approved/it was fine to hang there and was very pretty. Now I want to make bunches more and donate them to hospitals! If someone fighting for their life wakes up to something that's not so cold and stark and hard as an ICU room...maybe it'll bring a little bit of comfort; provide an iota more of strength; idk, just help in some way.
A great pattern, achievable for a beginner and about an hour and a half for a more advanced crocheter. It's amazing how many people have seen them and asked for one!
